Ivy is a super stunning girl with a world of love to give. She is a lovely, high-energy dog who will require a fit, dedicated owner. Someone who enjoys daily exercise will be the perfect match for Ivy. Ivy came into the shelter as a pup under a year old, she was rehomed to a family who did immense amounts of training with her, but found that her needs exceeded what they could offer. Ivy’s previous owners had her for approximately a year, and in this time worked alongside a fantastic trainer, Panos, from Nooches Pooches who also helps out at the shelter on a weekly basis. Panos and Ivy’s owners came leaps and bounds with her, she is very trainable, knows basic obedience quite well, has lived with children, and is manageable, although needs some further training with other dog interaction. Ivy walks quite calmly and happily alongside the dogs at the shelter, so we feel her progress is coming along. What Ivy truly needs is a loving home environment where he needs are met, she has stable and continuous training, and is kept as active as possible. Ivy will make a wonderful companion for someone as she is a very charming and lovable girl.
