About Sooty ~ Chihuahua x, girl (on trial 21/02/16)
Sooty is an energetic, 12 month old, Chihuahua cross. Such a beautiful little girl! She loves to sit with you while you watch TV. She likes other dogs and humans too. She loves lots of attention and loves to be with people. Her party trick is to jump into your arms for a cuddle.
Sooty is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to always sleep inside. She was not fully housetrained when she came into care but her foster carer has been teaching her, so Sooty needs a home with someone willing to continue her housetraining.
For more information or to meet Sooty, please contact her foster carer Margaret on 0405 500 186 or email mph_2212@bigpond.com. Sooty is in foster care in Cessnock, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Sooty's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
