About Parker
This sweet little boy is one of 6 pups surrendered into Wally's care.Transported down from Casino and now in foster care along with his sister Enya and 6 other host dogs. He's a little treasure!
Parker is a playful, energetic puppy who also loves to snuggle with his humans. He has mastered the doggie door in just 1 day and will now happily follow the other dogs in and out. Parker enjoys playing with toys and chew toys and will happily lay down and chew on a marrowbone while the other dogs play around him. Once he's ready for a snooze, he will take himself off to a quiet spot.
At the moment, Parker is still very small but is gaining weight already and will grow into a medium size dog. Being Kelpie x Border Collie, he will need an active family who are prepared and committed to giving him the lifestyle he needs. Working breeds need both physical and mental stimulation and are not 'lounge lizards', so please keep this in mind.
Parker is crate trained and sleeps through the night alongside his sister Enya. Whilst they are great mates in foster care, we do not recommend adopting 2 siblings together. Parker is currently on a diet of Blackhawk Puppy chicken and rice and will be introduced to chicken mince within the next couple of weeks.
To kickstart his training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Parker.
Parker will come microchipped, vaccinated, desexed, wormed and flea treated. Desex date to be advised. Available for adoption once all vet work is complete. Parker is in foster care at Blue Haven.

When enquiring about Parker, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialization outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
