“I’m Kerry and I was surrendered with a few of my brothers and sisters. I was quite timid when I first arrived but I’m slowly coming out of my shell thanks to the volunteers. I would benefit from having a doggy companion or someone who was home a lot as I really don’t like being by myself. I can live with small dogs or put up with a kitty if you have either of those. I’m looking for someone who will cherish me for just being who I am as a dog and doesn’t care if I can race or not (except to the lounge and my food bowl, that is important!) During my cat test I may or may not have figured out where the bed was…but I definitely found the couch so as you can see I’m very clever! If you have a spot for me on your couch please contact the volunteers info@greyhoundrescue.com.au”

Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
