About Abbey
When abbey was rescued she was desperately in need of some tlc. Her coat was dull, her skin dry and itchy and she had a sad and confused look in her eyes. It was obvious that she had recently had a litter of pups and it's likely that her abandonment was the result of an irresponsible breeder. Despite her slightly run down appearance it was immediately evident that her personality sparkles with such love and respect for people, other animals and her environment. Abbey would adore pleasing her new family; she is always happy to see you, willing to play and also content to snooze by your feet when you are otherwise preoccupied. She enjoys walks and accompanies her foster carer throughout the day. She is obedient, polite and extremely respectful. Abbey needs a family that will treat her with the same amount of unconditional love, attention and respect that she gives. This very special girl needs a good hour of exercise each day where she can run and play with other dogs as she is very good off the lead and socializing with other animals. She needs to be able to stay and sleep inside the home and would be an ideal companion for someone who works from home or works in a dog friendly environment. Ideally this lady would have the company of similar natured or breed of dog. Abbey has no notable vices, apart from a love of swimming and muddy puddles and sneaking up on the sofa while no-one is looking. Abbey comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with local council lifetime registration included in the adoption fee. All paws dogs can be viewed on our website at www.
