About Jay Jay
Jay Jay is a young Heeler mix (about 9 months). Quite possibly the happiest puppy I have ever met! He is always wagging his tail (he even wags his tail in his sleep)!
He walks beautifully on a lead- right beside his handle, even walks well beside a pram. He has settled into a busy young family life very quickly. He is polite when he meets people while out on a walk- but gets a bit excited when he sees other dogs on lead and sometimes barks with joy!
At home he is a little shadow- very curious about everything in the home- following his family members into every room!
He does love attention, so he is learning about personal space and not to jump on people for attention. He is very food motivated and is learning new things very quickly. He is also toilet trained.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2.Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form.: (This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.)

3. If your are successful one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you can return the dog at any time (the more notice the better, so we can ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be returned to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phone during this time, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
