About Cherry (Dog/Cat/Poultry Friendly)
Hi, my name is Cherry and the last 24 hours has been a whirlwind. I travelled a long way overnight to my new foster home.
I have been desexed on 15/02/2016, and I am still a happy, snugly, friendly girl who loves to climb on the nearest foster human’s lap. I am a little bit shyer than my sister but my foster mum says I am going to be quick to learn and adaptable.
I have met my 3 new doggie foster sisters and Jacob the fussy cat and 5 chooks and they all seem OK. They all seem to think I am ok too. I still need a lot of training because I am only 10 weeks old but I come when my foster mum calls me already. I like to follow her around. I am working on my toilet training but have a little way to go yet so will need some patience to help me learn. I am a Koolie X Kelpie working breed dog and so I am going to be quite a HIGH energy girl and will need some space to run in, and my family will need to give me lots of interesting training to keep my mind active or I might be naughty if I get bored.
My ideal home would have an older dog to help me learn good manners and socialise me properly. I also will need to be walked every day and be able to meet other dogs to keep me socialised. I need to be included in the family and allowed inside especially at night because I am a very social little girl but I will give you endless love in return. I am ready to go to my new home on 18th February.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Cherry, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Sherry.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Cherry is located on Central Coast in Springfield, NSW
