About Lightning Jack
Beautiful natured Jack is looking for a loving place to call his own now that he has retired from racing.
Jack loves his morning and afternoon sprint and then likes to chill out with the family or the other foster dogs under a shady tree.
Jack loves splashing in water and will chase a ball ..... he wont return it but he chases :) He loves cuddles and pats, will always seek people out for a cuddle!
My family adores him... a gentle nature and a great spirit! My dog-friendly cat walks around his legs without any issues. Great with other dogs.
Jack will be undergoing training soon so that he can be granted a greencollar ...which means when he is assessed and approved ...he wont need to wear a muzzle in public.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
