About Forest
Forest is a very special boy needing a family that can give him a calm and quiet home. He is very gentle and loving once he gets to know you but gets very shy around new people, especially men, so would be better suited to a home that doesn't have many men in the home or very patient ones. Forest loves kids and is very patient and gentle and great with cats.
Forest has just started Agility training and is proving to be a very smart boy, he just needs to build up some confidence.
Compared to his litter mates, Forest is very small, only weighing in at 18kg. He has had tests run to eliminate any medical conditions and vets assure us that he is just a lean dog.
Forest prefers to be an inside dog and is happy to relax on his bed or by your feet, but does still love to run, play and swim. He walks great on leash but does get anxious when in town on busy roads and around too many people. He is currently being fostered in Wauchope on property and is thriving in an environment where he has space and peaceful surroundings. A quiet environment or property would be ideal for this gorgeous boy.
He has shown to be great around livestock and has basic obedience - sit, drop, stay, shake hands, leave it and great recall.
If you feel you could give Forest a loving home, knowing that he needs to build confidence in meeting new people, please call Natasha to arrange a meet and greet.
