About Rocco

Rocco is a total and absolute sweetheart. A super-smart young pup with energy to burn, he is already fully toilet-trained - and will sit patiently at the door waiting for you to let him out!
This beautiful boy has an adoring, gentle soul. People and playtime are his two favourite things in the world. Put simply, Rocco is a perfect cuddlebug whose only desire is to meet his perfect person and settle in to his brand-new life of love and companionship.
MY IDEAL HOME: I love being around my foster family, so if you can spend lots of time with me and involve me in your daily activities, that would be so amazing! Because my foster parents work during the day, I'm also learning to be a brave, independent boy when I'm home alone.
I'm going to need lots of toys to keep me stimulated and happy, and a bit of outdoor space to play in would also be great. I'll also need some ongoing guidance to keep my basic training on track.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I sleep like there's no tomorrow! I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play, especially with my humans. As I grow bigger I'll benefit greatly from a brisk daily walk or run around the park.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I love playing with kids, although I'm very enthusiastic! - right now, children of at least school-age are going to be the best match for me. I'm a very quick learner though, and I'm confident I can be taught to rein in my exuberant nature when necessary.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I haven't met any cats or other dogs yet.

We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
