Lucy has cancer and is in palliative care.

Introducing Lucy, a sweet older girl looking for her forever home to spend her days in the company of her family. She has a gentle, loving nature, and enjoys a quiet lifestyle. Lucy is perfectly happy with a lap and a pat, and returns the love she receives in spades.

Lucy would be best suited to a home where she would be the only dog in the family. She has been unsocialised and spent her life in a back yard. She loves her humans so much that she’d prefer not to have to share them!

Lucy is also an inside dog as she needs to be around people as much as she can, but is house-trained and independent enough to need a doggy-door so that she can let herself out to the backyard. She doesn’t need a lot of space.

Lucy is a senior, but would still benefit from a slow, short walk in the morning and at night to keep her healthy, active, and alert.

This gorgeous soul also enjoys nuzzling and is blissfully content just spending time with you. What more could a doggy want!
