About Lady Featherstone
This sweet and stunning girl with the very fancy name is Lady Featherstone (don't worry, you can change it! :)
Lady came to our care as part of a group of ex-breeding queens, female cats who had been kept in sub-par conditions and used as kitten making machines. Due to changes in circumstances, in recent times it had gotten to the point that there wasn't enough food to go around and they were all suffering minor but untreated health issues.
Luckily for Lady, she is now looking to find a place in the world, somewhere she can be safe and receive the love and care that she deserves.
This miss is an absolute sweetheart. She likes to talk but not excessively, she is simply desperate for affection and love. To begin with she is a little shy and jumpy so she will benefit from a family who are reasonably quiet and will be patient and kind to her. It is clear that she hasn't received a lot of physical affection in her life as she gets startled at first by being patted but then leans in and just loves the attention.
It is heartbreaking to see an animal who has been treated this way simply because she happens to be a bit more fancy than your average moggie. But you have the power to turn that all around and offer Lady the life of love and care she deserves.

Medical notes
Lady is still underweight. She had diarrhoea but this has resolved with treatment and is no longer an issue. She has minor discharge from one eye but this is most-likely breed related. New owners are welcome to speak to a vet about any questions they have.

Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely dogs.
We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
