Meet Tashi.

Tashi is in need of some TLC in the form of love, patience and positive experiences. She's a shy girl but once she warms up to you is so affectionate and loves a cuddle.

Tashi was very shy when first arriving into the shelter. She was not keen on interacting with people or other dogs, but she has slowly come out of her shell and has started to trust humans.

Tashi is still building her confidence with other dogs. For the moment, Tashi attends Small Dog Social Club to slowly help her socialise with other small and gentle dogs. She would really benefit from having another quiet, friendly and gentle canine in the home who could show her the ropes, but she would not make great company for a boisterous, excited or playful dog.

Tashi would be great in a quiet home with a dog-savvy owner who can help her through uncomfortable situations with positive, reward based training. Her new family will have to be careful not to mollycoddle her - as hard as it may be! This could lead to Tashi becoming anxious, and it would be best for her to develop confidence and independence, rather than relying on her humans.

Tashi comes with two free one-on-one training sessions with our qualified staff who can help you through any settling in or training advice, so you'll be supported through the adoption period!
