Toffee is very quiet, and is happy just to lie near you. She loves her walks though, and walks very politely on lead. When she is down the beach or in the park off lead she will still walk close to you, and come when called
If she sees a friendly doggy nearby she will trot over and say hi and have bit of a play, but comes back if called..She is not an escape artist, she like her home too much. Does not dig holes or destroy anything
Loves riding in the car. Knows basic commands, but is not motivated by obedience lessons. Likes swimming in the lake, but not the pool, and likes the shallows at the beach We are not sure what her life was like before foster care, as she was handed into the Vet suffering from a tick bite, and was very thin and timid.She is much more confident now, but still submissive to people She has had multiple litters and does not have the figure of a young bitch, but is very healthy, with a nice short coat. She has had a major operation on her knee, and was a model patient, happy to stay in her crate for long periods while recovering. The operation was a success and she wont need any further treatment. Like all ladies she loves shoes, but would never dream of chewing on them, but she may take your thongs to bed with her.
In the evening she loves a cuddle on the couch for a while, but will then jump down and lie in her bed. Toffee would be ideal for someone who is home a lot and would like a quiet, loyal companion.
