Teddy

Teddy is the sweetheart of his litter, he is human focused and gentle with both people and animals and would make an excellent companion for anyone. He has a gentle nature and a sweet face and he loves to cuddle on the lounge with his foster mum whilst she watches tv and drinks tea. Even though he is the smallest of his litter, he is still a big boy being about 12 kilos or so at 3 months old and is sure to be around the 45-50 kilo mark when fully grown at least.
Right now in foster care, Teddy is with his two siblings, two horses, a few other puppies of similar age and 8 adult dogs plus he has also been exposed to chickens on the property as well. He is also learning his leash skills, toilet training, recall and basic obedience and he seems to be slowly gaining confidence in all of those departments. He would need a home that is moderately active, to keep him fulfilled and tired so that he can be a well mannered boy and a home that will want to continue his socialisation and training is preferred as well.
Teddy came into care with his two siblings after being found in an abandoned house fending for themselves. But he hasn't let his bad pasts stop him from showing off his adorable face and gentle manners. He would work well in a home as either a much loved only dog or in a home with another friendly dog or two. He hasn't been exposed to cats but we think due to being so young, he shouldn't have an issue at all. He has met some young kids and did well, but will need to have continued training on the correct behaviours as he can be a little jumpy when he wants to kiss and lick their faces.
