Harper

Harper is an independent but loving soul who loves to wrestle, snooze in the sun and travel in the car on the way to adventures and fun. She has been in care for a few weeks now and has watched other dogs come in and out and be rehomed and now it is her turn to do so.
She came into care with her two brother Tiny and Teddy after being found abandoned in an empty house fending for themselves at 3 months old. But this hasn't stopped her from showing us that she is capable of being a great loving companion for someone and their family.
Right now, Harper is in foster care with her two brothers, a few puppies and about 8 adult dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes and there are even 2 horses and some chickens on the property as well. She has been exposed to young kids as well, and typical to a puppy she just wants to lick faces and is still learning that jumping up or pawing is not an appropriate behaviour. So if there are young kids in her family, it is best to be aware that she is still needing some training in that department.
She is learning her toilet training and leash skills but again this needs to be continued in her new home so that she can master them. Her off leash skills and recall are being worked on heavily and she is showing excellent progress with them especially.
She is very playful with other dogs but would suit being either an only dog in her new home or in a home with an already friendly and social companion. She hasn't been exposed to cats as of yet, but with her age we believe that she shouldn't show any bad signs towards them.
Her ideal home would be one where she is given lots of love, has secure fencing and a home that will continue her socialisation and training as she gets older. Overall, she is nothing more than an adorable love bug.
