Sweet and friendly Rocket is looking for his new family. This young man has not done anything wrong, other than get caught by the dog catcher! Sadly unclaimed and obviously unwanted we busted the boy out of a country Victorian pound and Rocket now deserves the chance to have a family really care for him, providing the love and attention he deserves.
If your looking for a new buddy, to hang out with at the local dog park or the beach... even the river, then Rocket could be the one for you. He really is ready to become someone's number 1 boy. He is a little timid of older bossy dogs but very respectful so once told he goes out of his way to avoid being told of again. The best part is he is at a really good age ready to listen and learn everything he needs from his new family.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2.Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form.: (This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.)

3. If your are successful one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you can return the dog at any time (the more notice the better, so we can ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be returned to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phone during this time, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
