Skitch

Stitch has settled well in to his new foster home, and after a week of some gentleness, love and consistency this boy's true character is shining through. He loves to play with the ball, and loves water and if you can mix these two together for him he is in heaven! 

He is house trained, and will hold on for ages to go to the toilet outside. Stitch walks well on the lead, and settles in to the slow pace of our dog and is happy to walk alongside her. He doesn't pull on the lead even when other dogs bark at him through the fence. His recall off lead is fantastic, and he consistently checks in to make sure you are close by.

Stitch knows how to sit on command, and is very gentle taking treats from you. He will share a bowl of dry food with our dog. This big boy just wants love and affection, and the change in him just after a week of receiving regular pats and consistent reassuring has been amazing. 

Ideally, Stitch needs to go to a home with another dog to keep him company, one that will play with him and run around with him. He loves to "rumble" either with his human or another dog, so a home that is fairly active would be what this boy is looking for. It's also important that his forever home is able to provide Stitch with both indoor and outdoor time, as he loves to be close to his human (and if there's a lounge that he can chill out on well that's even better!)
