About Ruby
Ruby has just recently arrived into Wally's care. For a girl who had next to no human interaction prior to her rescue, she is LOVING her foster family. Ruby is in foster care with another Kelpie pup and host doggie Max as well as 3 cats. She's great with dogs of all ages and sizes and is curious about the cats but other than having a bark at them now and then, she has shown no aggression towards them. Ruby is not currently living with children but judging by her gentle nature, we feel that she would be great with them.
This sweet little girl is an affectionate little snuggle bum and loves to cuddle in your lap, tucking her head under your arm. She enjoys playing with her toys and LOVES to play tug-o-war with her furry friends. Ruby travels well in the car and is crate trained. Toilet training is going great and will have that perfected in no time.
Due to the fact Ruby was clearly undernourished, she literally 'inhales' her food but this will settle once she realizes that feeding time is now a regular thing. Ruby is extremely food motivated and is already learning to sit using treats.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Ruby.
We would love to see Ruby be adopted into a home with a medium to large size yard, with/without children and her carer believes she would do well with another doggie companion or as an only dog as long as she had a loving family that she can snuggle and play with. Ruby will not be adopted into a home as an only dog where all adults in the household.
Ruby has had all her vet work done and is available for adoption now. She will come microchipped, vaccinated, desexed, wormed and flea treated. Ruby is in foster care in Newcastle.

When enquiring about Ruby, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialization outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
