About Reiki
Reiki is a ticked tabby and has been in foster care awaiting his new home. How far has this little cat come since leaving the pound. Well his foster Mum Karen can say proudly in leaps & bounds!!! When first rescued Reike was a kitten that hid under the lowest closest piece of furniture he could find. Over a period of time he formed a close relationship with another foster cat Stephanie who has now gone off on trial in a home. Our fears that Reike would retreat back into himself did not eventuate in fact Reike came out like a house on fire. He follows his foster mum around the house he plays with his toys although his taste in toys runs on the expensive side - An Apple iPad. His top score on the fishing iPad game for cats is 240. He hopes to better that score in a new home.
While Reike may be better suited to a home that is not full on he is use to having children in his current foster home and certainly copes with other cats. Dogs yes once settled Reike is still young enough to accept a canine friend.
AWL would love to see this handsome (and he is very handsome) boy in his forever home.

Reike comes desexed vaccinated ( he will be getting his second vaccination this weekend ) wormed and flea treated. And as we love to say at AWL western Suburbs - loves comes free.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $51 once off fee. This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
