Ernie

Ernie is a young boy learning how fun it can be to be part of a family and he is now looking for his own forever home.
He is around 7months old and is small/medium sized and will grow to be a medium sized dog.
Ernie enjoys the company of his family and would love a home where he could live inside and be a part of everyday activities but is also not in your face and happy to entertain himself.
Ernie gets on great with other dogs of all sizes and would benefit from having a brother or sister to give him confidence as he is still a little unsure about the world. He is great with dog savvy cats and has even played gently with a couple of kittens. However these interactions should be monitored as he can get a bit excited.
Ernie loves people and children, and loves to play with his stuffed toys.
Around the house he is fine, but Ernie is quite nervous when on walks because he is not use to all the noises and smells. We are working on this with him, and he is improving but is is a slow process. He is a lot better when walking with other dogs as he feels more confident so having a paw buddy will help a lot.
A home that is happy to slowly build his confidence in the outside world and possibly has another paw friend would be wonderful for his development.
