The Ratbags are two of our spunkiest dogs! They're being fostered next door to each other so spend the days at each other's house, playing and cuddling. They're the ultimate best buds!
Stella is 5yrs old and was used for backyard breeding but is one of the fittest, healthiest ex-mums we've seen, she's in great condition! She's very sweet and loves a cuddle on the couch or to play with her squeaky toy, and uses alot of her excess energy playing with Josh. She's great with basic odedience, waits nicely at the door, sits for her lead and food, and responds well to correction if she gets a little over excited.
Joshy is about 18mnths so is still a puppy in some ways but picks up things really quickly. He sits for his lead and food, is learning stay and wait at the door, and to play with toys. He walks lovely on a lead and is gentle with people, always wanting to lay his head on your shoulder or knee so he can look into your eyes.
This pair of lovers are great pals and keep each other company through the day. The only thing they need to work on is over excitement when they're out on walks, both in their own way get a bit revved up when they see another dog but are doing great with their trianing in this - learning to sit and look, sniff and be calm before meeting or reacting to dogs out and about. They'd be great for a couple who have a bit of experience with dogs and are happy to put a bit of time and focus into getting these guys over that last little hump of excited dogness!
