About Patch
Patch is an interesting little character. The most wary of the siblings, Patch spends much time observing the action before he dives in with all he has. He won't give up a rumble and roll but he appears to assess everything before jumping. Patch enjoys people cuddle time but is very much pack oriented. He loves his play time, he can be called out of play but tends to be the naughtier boy that gets in the last nip (his sister is the worst but she is listed separately) He is a fantastic little buddy for the resident two legged children (6 and 8 years of age). He does like to play with them and is gentle but does prefer to have another dog as company when he is with them. A very sweet possum, Patch is still learning his name but recall is not a problem as he follows the crew who come before him! Patch is very quick at picking up new tricks, it took a grand three minutes of group training for him to master his sit on command. A sweet boy, Patch would be a lovely family dog but definitely enjoy the company of another animal companion.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form.: (This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.)

3. If your are successful one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you can return the dog at any time (the more notice the better, so we can ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be returned to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phone during this time, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
