About Annie ~ on trial 27/02/16
Introducing Annie - a small 1 yr old terrier mix with a bucket load of personality and love to give. Annie was a shy little girl when she first came into foster care but she has burst out of her shell with flying colours ! Gone is the timid little girl who was wary of contact and in her place is a confident, friendly rascal who loves people and cuddles!
Annie is a little pocket rocket who loves to run around, play fetch and chasings with her foster siblings. She loves to show off how clever she is and how fast her little legs can zip her around the yard. She loves and craves human contact and is her foster carers little shadow. Her markings are almost as gorgeous as her beautiful little personality - with a perfect black patch over her eye and some spots just to match. Annie loves the other dogs she is fostered with however can be wary of bigger unknown dogs due to her petite size. However once she gets comfortable with them there is no size barrier and she can leap, jump and frolic with them all day! Her best friend is Norman, a large bull arab mix.
Annie is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside when her family is at home. She loves to sleep inside and sleeps the whole night through. She would suit a family with another active friendly dog that she can zip around the yard with if you are out. She will thrive in a good size yard that she can play in and good fencing with no gaps underneath due to her small size.
Annie has a scruffy coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every couple of months) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
Annie loves kids and gives them lots of kisses - she's also quite gentle with smaller children. Annie's dream family would be a family that involves her in their lives and activities, she just wants to be around you all the time so lots of cuddles and snuggles are a necessity. A nice walk daily and some couch time is Annie’s version of heaven! This girl has lots of love and laughs to give – she is a total treasure who will make your family complete.
For more information or to meet Annie, please contact her foster carer Rebecca on 0412 035 543 or email becca.r17@hotmail.com. Annie is in foster care near Bateau Bay, NSW (Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
