Ollie

Ollie is a small 4 kilo Maltese x silky terrier male who is looking for a new home either with his duo partner Milly or alone. Ollie hasn't had the greatest life and has spent a fair chunk of it chained in the backyard and due to this, his socialisation with the outside world and other dogs isn't that great. Once having Ollie is care he has shown that he is very human focused and would love someone who can spend some time with him, do some basic training and also stabilise that the outside world is okay.
Ollie isn't a very active boy but still loves a brisk walk at least a few times a week but he does need some exposure to what is appropriate behaviour and what is not.
Ollie seems to exhibit some fears towards dogs that are larger than him so would suit being an only dog, with his partner Milly or with another small breed friendly dog. He has been exposed to cats and also doesn't seem bothered by these. Due to his size, he will need a gap free fence in his new home because he can squeeze through little gaps.

He is currently learning how to behave indoors and around the outside and seems to be grasping the concept well. He would do great in a household as an elderly couples companion or with someone wanting a little dog. We think with training he would be better and less anxious with larger dogs, and a household that is willing to put that effort in is great but not entirely necessary.
