Arlo ~ Whippet x Fox Terrier (On trial 12/02/16)

Arlo is a 7 week old, male, Whippet x Fox Terrier puppy. He enjoys playing with toys, wrestling with the other dogs and puppies, exploring the garden and curling up on a lap for a nap. He is very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment with other dogs and people. He gets along very with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages. He hasn't met a cat yet but I'm sure he'll be fine.

We recommend puppy training classes for all puppies. Arlo will need a daily walk, toys, and interaction with people. Puppies are a big commitment for approximately 15 years.

Arlo needs to be allowed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. He will be great family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. He will grow up to be a small dog. You will need good fencing with no small gaps. He cannot go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire). Gates need to have locks on them to discourage dog thieves (sad but true).

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Arlo. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.

There are 4 puppies in this litter, 3 females (Anton, Arlo and Sampson) and 1 females (Delilah).

As Arlo is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's 4 or 5 months old.
