About Kendrick
Kendrick has recently arrived into care and we will update his profile shortly as we get to know more about him.
He came into the shelter as a stray, so we don't know anything about his past.
Kendrick is an energetic dog but can also be quite calm around the home. He loves to cuddle up on the couch and bask in your affection whilst you compliment his handsome good looks.
Kendrick is a confident boy and has some of that independent Husky streak, however he also has some great basic training already and knows sit, shake, drop and high five. Like most huskies Kendrick cannot be let off lead in an unenclosed environment.
Kendrick can be selective with other dogs but gets along very well with his young husky foster sister. He would do best in a home either as an only dog or with a female companion of similar size.
He is looking for a home that can provide daily exercise, ongoing training and 6ft secure fences.
Kendrick can be excitable at times but bring out the treats and you will quickly have his full attention. He also walks pretty well on lead for a husky! As he is quite focused on food he will need to be fed separately to other dogs in the household, at least until he settles in.
He will need a home without young children, cats or pocket pets; and preferably with similar breed experience.
