About Max & Ally
Max & Ally are just the most beautiful affectionate young dogs you ever did meet.
Both will lean into your arms for endless cuddles and pats, Max in particular is hugely affectionate.
Ally is the more confident of the two and is quite happy to explore new places and situations. She is quite outgoing and takes most things in her stride.
Max on the other hand can be nervous in new places and will need slow exposure and positive reinforcement to help him overcome some of his anxieties around new situations and places.
As Max & Ally are so closely bonded they will need to go to a home together. Max & Ally will need to go to an arctic breed experienced home.
Max and Ally love to go on walks however as they have never been walked before coming into our care they are still learning their leash manners. Neither are too bad on lead and continuing the training they are receiving in foster care should see them develop lovely on leash manners. They will need daily exercise as they will dig or become destructive if left with too much energy to expend, which is to be expected really.
Max & Ally are keen to meet other dogs but they have also not met other dogs much in the last 10 months of their life since they were not walked. As such they will need to be encouraged to develop good doggie manners, attending a group obedience class with them would be an excellent way to ensure they can learn to meet other dogs appropriately in a safe manner.
Max & Ally both know sit but they have not had any other formal training. As they have been outside dogs all their lives they are not yet toilet trained.
They behave appropriately towards people however as they have had very limited exposure to anything new or different in their lives a home without small children would be best for now.
Max & Ally do exhibit high prey drive so they will need a home without cats, chickens or other pocket pets.
