About Maddie
Maddie was thought to be very shy when she first came in to foster care but she is now quite transformed. She is called 'little maddie' as her foster carer's own dog is called maddie and rather large and plump! little maddie plays constantly with her other foster friends colette, bobette and princess from the nt and can be quite bossy but they are used to dealing with anything so soon put her in her place. Little maddie walks well with a harness and when off the lead runs like the wind but comes back immediately when called. Her coat is low maintenance and soft, even though she looks like there may be a bit of terrier in her background. However, like all her doggy friends, she adores to be cuddled and snuggled and gives little licks of thanks. In her past. Little maddie has not been well treated so she can be fearful of certain situations (like being in a cage at the vet) and may bark at tall men with large boots! little maddie is most definitely a house dog and must be rehomed as one. Like all dogs, she cannot be left for very regular long periods alone. Little maddie may well be ok with children as long as the parents are sensible and guide them in the treatment of their dog. Updated 3 august: "why oh why do humans judge by appearances and not want to give me a forever home. . . Dogs don't! i may not have all that pretty hair of the fancy breeds or a super cute playful face but, like all other dogs, i just want someone to love. I like playing with other dogs, love to walk on the harness or run
Off lead and always come when i am called. But most of all my favourite thing to do is curl up next to my foster carer or in her lap. When she comes home i jump along the floor to greet her or swing around in circles when she gets up in the morning. In the past things were not good for me and i got very nervous of humans so when i first meet them i take a few minutes to sniff them and check they want to make friends then i love to get pats and hugs so please don't keep looking past me. I may have a
Little beard and a rough looking coat but actually its very soft and does not need all that grooming which gets expensive. I would like to stay here with big maddie, my foster carer's big old dog, but know that i will be happier when i have a family to call my own. "
Maddie comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $330.
