About Patch *Adoption Pending*
Meet heart throb Patch (in care for less than a day and his foster mummy was already completely in love). Patch is a total goof ball - a very excitable goofball!
He is responding quickly to training; he understands to be calm when inside the house and sleeps happily on the floor next to his foster mums bed. Patch walks very well on the leash, he can also sit and drop and is working very hard on wait.
Patch would have to be the friendliest, happiest pup his foster family has ever met. He gets along well with cats, all dogs big and small and is currently being fostered with small children. However, Patch is going to be a very, very big boy! A home with small children would be OK provided parents are aware that he is very excitable and jumpy, and like any dog should not be left unattended with children. His carers are working very hard on teaching him not to jump up. Patch means no harm; he is just so excited and happy to see everyone, but doesn't realise his own strength and size around little people.
Patch is going to be a very active boy - his ideal family will be including him in all activities, and daily exercise is a must. Patch would love another pup to keep him company, otherwise would suit someone who is home a lot. He just has so much love to give, he wouldn't cope being locked outside all day on his own, like no dog should.
If you're looking for a big lovable boy, and happy to continue training, then Patch is the man for you.
