About Sace
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Sace is a sweet and loving girl with a beautiful doggy grin, and velvety fur that smells of biscuits! She is wonderful company, making you laugh every day with her curiosity and personality.
Very well-behaved and obedient when in calm environments, Sace walks beautifully on a leash when reminded to walk beside or behind, and has shown her intelligence by learning a variety of new tricks since coming into foster care. She makes an excellent jogging buddy and is great at fetch, although she won't make you play all day. :)
Sace's favourite toys are plush squeaky ones, which she doesn't chew up but likes to carry around and groom. She also loves to cuddle up with big humans once they're familiar and she feels confident around them. She snores a little too, which is super cute.
Sace is even a little bit internet-famous! Check out her Facebook page: https://web.facebook.com/sacedogface/
MY IDEAL HOME: I am not really a city girl to be honest, so my ideal home will be somewhere without big scary trucks and trains going past all the time, with people who will love to exercise with me every day and crash out on the couch for big cuddles when we get home.
I have had quite a lot of change in my short life so far, and it's left me a little anxious regarding changes to my routine and surroundings. To find my forever home with mature and experienced dog owners, child-free or with grown-up children, who won't be travelling or moving around much would be perfect.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am used to going out 2-3 times a day for around an hour each time, but that's because I'm mostly just trotting along on a leash. I've really enjoyed jogging on the few occasions I've been and happily kept up a good pace for a couple of Ks! In saying all this, I definitely DO like my naps too. :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm a bit scared of the little humans - they're so unpredictable! I'd rather not live with young kids, though bigger ones are usually OK.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I doubt I'll ever get along with cats or dogs much smaller than me unfortunately.
I'm working on polite interactions with bigger playful dogs, and my foster carers say I'm improving a lot! But right now I'd do best as a solo pet, or in a home with only VERY calm pooches who are bigger than me and able to ignore my social awkwardness.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
