About Austin and George

Hi, we're Austin and George! We're a pair of bonded brothers who look out for each other in this big world, and would love to find our home together in a wonderful loving household.
We are super-easygoing guys who get on well with people of all ages - even young kids! Austin is the more outgoing and adventurous one - he loves to spend a few hours each day investigating the great outdoors - while George keeps the home fires burning.
MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a person, couple or family who loves to give us pats! We would also love some daytime access to the outdoors, preferably in a safe enclosed yard or garden.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: We love to divide our time equally between exploring, playing and snoozing. We're very balanced.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Austin says: I love children! Especially if I can sleep at the foot of their beds. But if not, I like pats once I get to know them. George says: Children are fine but I do not like a lot of noise. I might just hide under a bed if there's too much chaos about! I currently live with three small children though, so I can pretty much get used to anything.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We don't love other cats, and dogs are very scary - not for us, sorry!

Medical notes
Austin tore his cruciate ligament late in 2015. He has had surgery and is fully recovered. His vet has suggested a shot of glucosamine every six months to help allay any arthritis that may occur as he ages.
