About Sarge on trial in his new home
Sarge has gone on trial in his new home.
This young and gentle natured male German Shepherd was brought into a Sydney Animal Shelter after the storms of last week and his owner failed to collect him.
Sarge is a compact 34 kilo male stock coated German Shepherd that we have found to be loving and so eager to please. From his coat condition and general state of health we can see he has been a yard dog and could do with some fattening up and a good bath. So he will be receiving both this week. We can also see he has never been in a motor vehicle. But once he was lifted into our vehicle he quickly settled and enjoyed the ride.
Sarge is good around children who are dog savvy but will have continued obedience and lead training whilst in our care. This gentle and very affectionate male shepherd just wanted to sit on our laps and give us kisses. Sarge will need a confident owner who will ensure he is given plenty of exercise, inclusion in the family home and further lead and obedience training to ensure he settles into his new home .

Medical notes
Sarge is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated C5 on heart worm prevention. He is being professionally groomed and hydrobathed and flea and worm treated.
