About Hagar
Hagar is the ultimate in playful kitten. He is brimming with energy and confidence. He is also highly affectionate and adores his people.
Hagar will play with absolutely any toy, though his favorite so far is human hair. Even better if its moving!
Hagar has a purr engine that never stops. From the moment you touch him to the moment he falls asleep, he doesn't stop purring.
He has a gorgeous fluffy black coat with grey tabby markings, however we believe he will grow to be pure black. His coat will be easy to maintain with an occasional brush.
Hagar is confident outside and loves running through the tall grass and exploring new places. He gets along well with dogs, and thinks our resident shepherds are the best toys. Particularly those big ears ;) He gets along with other cats, but will need proper introductions to any animals.
Medical notes
Hagar has what is called a "fever coat". This is the cause of his ghost markings and white hairs. This does not affect his health in any way. When he sheds his kitten coat and grows his adult coat, he will be pure black and all evidence of stripes or white furs will be gone.
Hagar is located near Leeton in New South Wales.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
