Hello there my name is Alexandra and I am a sweet gentle girl who was surrendered to the shelter as unfortunately my previous owners were moving and could no longer look after me so I am now looking for my forever home. I am very affectionate with people but can be a little shy when first meeting new people so my new owners must give me some time to settle at home before my true personality shows. I would love to have my own private enclosed bed as this will be my own personal safe space I can go to for a snooze or if I am unsure with a noise or a new person in the household I will have somewhere I feel comfortable to go to until I feel better. I love attention and will climb into your lap for pats and then a nap. My new owners will have to speak to one of our friendly vets here in the shelter before adopting me as I had a dental before coming to adoptions and regarding my skin lesions just to remind my new owners how important a good dental regime is for me and to be aware of my vet history since arriving at the shelter.
