Hi my name is Willow and I am a sweet quiet girl who was surrendered to the shelter as unfortunately my previous owners could no longer look after me so I am now looking for a loving family to call my very own! I am a very affectionate young lady who can be a little shy and reserved with new people but after a few chin scratches I am instantly won over! I love attention from humans and will smooch up to you for attention or happily enjoy a snooze in your lap once I get to know you. My new owners must give me some time to settle into my new household and I would love having my own personal safe space such as an enclosed bed box or cat scratching post as this will be my own personal safe spot that is quiet and dark where I can go if I feel uncomfortable or even just want my own space. I can be independent at times and enjoy napping on any available beds or comfortable areas but I tend to love smooches and cuddles in the afternoon/evening towards the end of the day. My new owners must understand that I may always be a little unsure with my new people entering the house so I may be a little quieter than usual or move into another room. I have interacted with children before and enjoyed spending time with them so I can be adopted with children in the family but I am best suited to a household with mature/quieter children as loud noises may make it difficult for me to settle sooner. I have also previously lived with a dog so I may be suitable to share a household with another dog with slow and gradual introductions of course.
