About Boots
Boots is ready and raring to get into his new family and home, this is a dog with a lot going for him, he is happy, eager to please and very intelligent. Boots just needs the opportunity to be with a family who are willing and keen to keep educating and socialising him.
Boots is kelpie in personality and looks so being a working breed type he has a pretty high energy level and drive but he knows when is down time and is more than happy to lounge around and have cuddle time, he knows that inside time is quiet time and is happy to curl up on a comfy bed. He is a real sweet natured boy who is very people orientated.
Boots is a very willing participant in training and once he knows what is expected of him he tries hard to please, he would do well in attending obedience classes, or anything that offers him a challenge and stimulates him physically and mentally, regular walks and outings and spending time in with his family.
Car travel is a breeze with this boy, he just loves being out with you and will travel happily in the car for hours.
At this time we feel Boots would do well as an only dog or with a more mature desexed female dog, he enjoys company and loves to play with other dogs but sometimes gets carried away so a dog his size or larger is a good match for him.
Boots is living in foster home with children and has enjoyed interacting with them, he is walking very well on lead and has great stamina for anyone looking for a walking or running companion.
Best suited to home with no cats.
Boots is in the Ballarat area
