Kysa

Kysa is a senior boy looking for a forever home.

Kysa has now come into GSRV care and was in considerably worse condition than we expected, however, he is now on the road to recovery.

We were initially told that Kysa was 7 years old however, when we took him to the vet, a microchip was found and revealed that he is, in fact, 8.5 years old. He is so underweight that the Vet who saw him said there was no fat covering his ribs at all.

Whilst Kysa is fine when he meets other dogs out and about, he gets very jealous when family members pay attention to another dog. Whilst perhaps in time he may be able to live with another dog, right now he simply cannot.

Sadly, poor Kysa has spent most of his life in a backyard where he received very little care or attention; we need to change that. We are looking for a very special family with no other pets who can nurse Kysa back to health and show him the love he has never seen. He is currently in foster care and is described as, 'just the loveliest dog, very gentle and lovely with children; a really sweet and cuddly gentleman'. He may not be looking his best right now but it's nothing that a bath, a good brush and a whole lot of love wouldn't fix. So please look beyond his current looks as this boy really needs to start his new life with a loving family that will bring out his handsome best.
