Twitch ~ Cattle Dog x on trial 29/01/16

Meet Twitch, Twitch is a 5 month old Cattle dog X. This boy is pretty much the whole package. He is smart, fun, cute and a really gentle soul. He is currently enjoying our family of Mum, Dad, Mr 6 and Miss 4 and our male 15mth old Ridgeback x. From day one in our house he has been so settled and content.

He is pretty easy going, spending his days basking in the sun, playing with our dog (and any other dog he meets!), playing house with Miss 4 or adventure games with Mr 6. We have had a fair few kids over during the holidays and he still amazes us with how good he is with them. Our kids absolutely adore him!

He loves a good belly rub and curling up with us on the mat when he comes inside. Twitch sleeps outside with our dog and is allowed inside throughout the day. We have two kennels outside but most times they sleep in the same one (which is a bit cute). He is still toilet training but he is pretty clever so it won’t take long for him to learn this in his new home.
Twitch thrives on pleasing us and will jump through rings for a treat or a belly rub! He will be an even more amazing companion with further training as he is still only a pup.

He is extremely friendly to people and other dogs, always greeting everyone for a pat and is then happy to sit or lay at their feet (or in their lap if they let him!). He likes to keep us in his sight. If I’m hanging clothes out, he is laying near the basket; if I’m gardening, he is lying next to the garden bed; if I’m sitting outside he is at my feet; If we are laying down; he is curled up next to us!

Twitch loves a good wrestle with our dog, often teasing him with toys for a game of chase but that is between long bouts of sleeping and sunbaking! He has also met a few other dogs and pups while in our care and has shown nothing but excitement and play with all of them.
We feel so lucky to have this boy and know he will make a fabulous addition to an active and dedicated family.
