About Layla
Layla is an absolute sweet heart with a personality to match. She is very submissive and loves nothing more than a belly rub and a kiss on the head. Layla was found as a very frightened and unsure girl in the pound and instantly opened up once she was exposed to her foster home- making instant best friends with a 4.5 month old puppy and the kelpie boy that was rescued with her.
Layla is in foster care with 11 other dogs ranging in sizes and ages and loves to play and rumble with anyone willing. She is currently working on her toilet training and leash work but she is very responsive to high praise and treats so we think this shouldn't take long at all. She has been exposed to both the inside and outside of the home and sometimes chooses to either sleep in the crate indoor or outside in the large kennels.
Layla adores other dogs and will be assessed with kids, cats and livestock once she settles into care a little further. But from her submissive and gentle nature we don't believe any of these would be an issue.
Layla would do best in a home either as a very much loved only dog or with another friendly dog or two. Especially a playful dog if possible. An active household would be good and one that would be interested in furthering her obedience training as she only knows the sheer basics. Kids as she is a little timid we would recommend kids over 5 years old unless confident with dog and dog behaviour.
Overall, Layla is a sweet and cuddly little girl who will only grow to be a medium dainty girl when fully grown. She is always happy to see you and loves nothing more than a rough pat.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
