About Jemima F.R.E.E to Good Home
Beautiful Jemima is a special needs cat and can only go to a one cat household (unless you have another special needs cat) and be kept indoors. Sadly she was diagnosed with FelV which is Feline Leukaemia. This doesn't mean she can't have quality of life, it just means she won't live a long life. She is such an angel and loves sleeping snuggled up to me and purrs up a storm when she gets a pat. She is so affectionate and has had a truly horrendous start to life. How she continues to share her love with humans is beyond me. She has so much to give and just needs a home filled with love and understanding. I am more than happy to answer any questions about this beautiful girl or her condition. She is desexed, microchipped, vacinnated, wormed and flea treated. RADAR will also cover any ongoing vet costs relating to her FelV.
Medical notes
FeLV tested positive.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
