About Jethro
Hi there my name is Jethro and I am a girl... confusing I know but I hear I am named after a very famous tv person so I guess its ok although it does cause some confusion...
I am a very lucky kitten because when my mummy was pregnant with me she ended up in the pound and almost died... but the lovely people at best friends pet rescue saved her and then 2 days later bam there I am, I have had a bit of a rough time with many vet trips needed... so while all my siblings have gone off to their new homes I had to take yucky medicine, gross! But now I am 100% better and its my turn to find my own home!
I love my food, I love playing in plastic bags and playing peek-a-boo. I am very active and prefer to play rather than cuddle... and if too many people come to visit I can be a little nervous (large groups) but I do get used to people quickly. Also - I can be a bit nervous around dogs to start with but as long as they are calm I do get used to them quickly. I have lived with my mum and my older foster brother so am used to other cats.
If you think I could be your new family member please email Best Friends Pet Rescue. My foster mum will miss me but she will be happy to see me go to my furever family.
Jethro is located in WAGGA WAGGA, a five-hour drive from Sydney or Melbourne.
This pet will come microchipped, but council registration - if required in your state or territory - is not included in the adoption fee.
Medical notes
Jethro had ring worm and a mouth ulcer when she was 8 weeks old, but has now fully recovered.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made.
5. Adoption transaction completed.
