Snow *On Trial in Her New Home*

Surrendered to our local pound through no fault of her own, Snow came into foster care as a shy and reserved young pup but with some much-deserved TLC she is growing into a very huggable, bouncy young lady who is gentle and very welcoming of visitors.

This adorable pup loves cuddles and affection; she has been living with 6 other dogs while in foster care and enjoys playing with all of them, although she is unaware of her size and does tend to play a bit too rough with the smaller dogs and cat. This is why we would only recommend her to a home with older children and larger animals. Snow has also been living with miniature horses and thinks that they are just the best and likes to follow them around the yard. As she is used to having company Snow would benefit from a canine companion if you were away for much of the day at work or being a young puppy she may get bored and up to mischief.

When given the chance, Snow loves spending time indoors as she thrives on human company though she is not quite fully house trained, however she is crate trained, so with a bit more training this goal of enjoying an indoor / outdoor lifestyle can be achieved.

Snow is very food orientated and even though she has not been in foster care for long, she is picking up “sit” especially when there’s delicious cheese involved! She’s also learnt some table manners and now waits for her dinner and eats when she is told alongside all of her foster brothers and sisters.

As Snow is only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners. As she’s being fostered on acreage she hasn’t spent any time on a lead so will need to be taught this in her forever home. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make Snow a very happy puppy indeed!
