About Betty
Hi my name is Betty. I am a gorgeous little girl searching for a forever family that I can snuggle on the couch with at the end of a big day!
I am half playful puppy the other half cuddly teddy bear. My foster family also say I'm very clever as I was toilet trained in only two days!
I have long legs and big feet for a puppy and although that might mean I will grow taller some day right now they make it easy for me to run and play with the other dogs! I'm even beginning to learn how to chase a ball too. My long legs are also handy for cuddling into someone and giving amazing hugs.
I started off living on a farm so I'm like a shadow and will follow you around the house and I enjoy taking regular walks with you too. Don't worry if you're busy I'll understand I like to curl up and relax at your feet as well (and I have some very interesting sleep positions that I'm sure you will love!)
I have been going out and learning more about the world every day. I'm getting better at meeting new doggy friends and am growing more confident and adventurous each time we go out. I would love my new family to take me to puppy school so I can keep learning good doggy manners.
The humans say I have a heart condition called Pulmonary Stenosis I have had a heart ultrasound and the vets say I am lucky as its only mild and I still have a happy healthy life ahead well I knew that silly humans.
If you are looking for a beautiful pup to add to your family I could be just the little lady for you...
Medical notes
Betty suffers from very mild Pulmonic Stenosis.
Pulmonic stenosis is a congenital (present at birth) defect characterized by the narrowing and obstruction of blood through the heart's pulmonary valve, which connects the pulmonary artery to the right ventricle (one of the heart's four chambers).
Bettys condition is mild and she suffers from a heart murmur she will need ongoing vet checks as she grows and potentially medication as she gets older.
This condition does not effect Betty in any way and she is a active happy go lucky puppy who loves to play, our specialist vets assure us she will live a very happy normal life.
