Daisy ~ Senior Terrier On Trial 14-01-16

Hi my name is Daisy; I am a 9 year old terrier cross. I can sit and stay and am overall an obedient dog. I walk really well on the lead, no pulling, and I do not bark when other dogs bark at me when I am walking past them. I love squeaky toys and soft toys, I will happily play with a squeaky for a long period and will stop when I am told no more.

I am a small dog I weigh 7 kilos. I have a short coat that only requires a daily brush and occasional bath. I love my daily brush, I roll over on my back for my tummy to be brushed and then sit whilst my back is being brushed.

I am house trained and will bark once at the door when I need to go outside. I sleep inside in an enclosure and sleep all night without making a noise. I am very happy when I wake up and go outside for a run before coming inside for some breakfast. I am not food aggressive and happily share my food with my doggie friends. I have shown no signs of any aggression or bad habits since being with my foster family.

I came into the care of Dog Rescue Newcastle after my elderly owner was admitted to a nursing home, I was sad for a time, but have settled very quickly into my new foster home.

I would just love to be your little dog, I love children, I am gentle and loving. I would make a loving companion either as an only dog or as an addition to your doggy family.
I am currently living in foster care at Toronto (Newcastle)NSW, I live with 3 other small dogs who I get along well with. I have not been exposed to cats since I have been in foster care, so my foster mum is unsure how I react.
