About Max ~ kelpie x Staffy (On trial 17/2/06)
Max: 2 year old Kelpie x Staffy. Hello world! I’m Max! I am a very, very good boy who loves cuddles and just hanging out with my foster family. They have cats and kids and even other dogs. I love going to the local dog park to meet new friends. While I don’t understand the whole tennis ball caper, I love chasing other dogs around and happily playing with them.
Even though I do like other dogs, I would love a home as an only dog; I prefer to be the master of my own backyard.
If I must say so myself, I am a very polite, delightful and well behaved boy. However, I am embarrassed to say that I am a little afraid of cats. My foster mum says I am a very gentle soul.
And now a word from my foster carer: Max is a truly wonderful dog, who has brought our family much joy over the last few weeks. We have loved having him and just know that he is going to be someone’s best mate forever. He would suit a young, active family with a lot of yard to run in and who would give him plenty of attention and exercise.
If you feel you can provide this boy with a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or Alex on 0408 497 731 or email: drnmudgeebranch@yahoo.com. Max is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
Max is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. His adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
