About Louie
Well hi there! I'm Louie, pleased to meet you. I'd love to meet you in person and be your new best buddy! I am an active and very playful little guy with heaps of personality who will make a wonderful addition to your family. I love to play with other dogs and would definitely prefer a home with another small do who I can play with and run around with. I'm currently in foster care with two small dogs though I have also been around larger dogs in the past and get on great with them. I LOVE people and am also great with children. Because I am so fond of my human companions, I can get a little anxious about being left on my own - having another dog will help with this and even better would be a family where someone stays home part or all of the day.
I have been around cats but not a lot - I don't hurt them but I do think they're fun to chase so if you have feline family members I will need some extra training and instruction to make friends with them. But the great thing about that is that I am VERY smart and learn new things extremely quickly.
I'm the kind of guy who really believes that I'm part of the family - I like to sit on the couch and sleep on your bed if you'll let me! I'm definitely not an outdoors dog - I am houstrained, can use a doggy door and enjoy walks and trips to the beach but when you're home I want to be inside where the action is.
I'm a great little guy, if I sound perfect for you please get in touch today!

Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely dogs.
We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
