About Marty
Meet our boy Marty a playful and loving male desexed German Shepherd who has been taken into care after spending his Christmas in an animal shelter. You see Marty was surrendered by his family to a Sydney animal shelter before Christmas. His former owners made this decision as they were moving overseas and could not afford the expense of taking their dog with them.
So Marty is now in our care and he is loving being in a home with his foster family. Marty immediately made friends with the resident dogs and he just follows his foster Dad around the farm enjoying the attention.
Marty would be best suited to a family with older children only due to his playfulness. He is lovely with people very affectionate and would also be a wonderful companion dog for an active couple. Marty is house trained and still mischievious taking off with the odd shoe and hiding them on his trampo bed.
Marty will need further obedience training but he is a soft dog who shows no aggression and just needs a confident owner who will ensure he is walked daily, given inclusion in the family home. We do feel he would be a good friend for another female dog of similar size.
Marty has not been tested with cats or small dogs at this stage.
Currently in care at Windsor Marty can be viewed by contacting Linda.
Medical notes
Marty is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated C5 on heart worm prevention. He has been flea treated and wormed and is located at Windsor.
