About Steve ~ kelpie x puppy On Trial 17/01/16
Steve, 10 week old, Kelpie x Cattle dog pup. Hi! I currently live with a three year old Kelpie and a one year old human who I both like a lot! I would settle in easily to your home because I love dogs and kids and cuddles.
I have already learnt to sit for a treat and my foster family think I am going to be very clever! I might even be a good working dog. I am going to be a dog that has a lot of ENERGY! So I need to be with an active family that will play with me a lot and walk me every day.
I would love to have a dog friend in the yard to keep me company as well. I much prefer to sleep outside than inside - if I am inside I scratch at the door to be let out and then curl up on my blanket under the verandah and go to sleep.
I have an easy to care for coat that will just need the occasional brush and bath, so I will be no trouble at all in the right home.
If you feel you can provide this boy with a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or Laura on 0402 470 105 or email: drnmudgeebranch@yahoo.com. Steve is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
Steve is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. His adoption fee is $500.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
