About Jackson
Hello my name is Jackson. I am a lucky black cat and have a very very soft nature. I was rescued from a pound and have been in foster care since Xmas eve. I was a little sick but am fighting fit again and looking for a home I can call my own. I am playful like all kittens but possess a very calm grown up attitude. I have a very soft sweet meow and purr a great deal when sitting on laps. I also enjoy a cuddle or too.
If you think you can give me the home I need please speak with Jeanette the AWL Cat CoOrdinator Western Suburbs 0401 148 076 Jeanette knows me personally and is helping me find my own family. She will send you the pre-adoption application to complete.
What we think - its true Jackson is a very very placid laid back boy. He is a little bit of a smoocher he loves to cuddle up to you meows to be held and is really happy to sit with you and fall asleep by your side. I think he is one of the gentlest kittens I have in foster care. He will retain his nature into adult hood so if you are looking for a gentle cat Jackson will fit the bill.

Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $51 once off fee. This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
